Innings Closed - Volume 7

I managed to compile Volume 7 when on a trip to Belgium and set off with a long list of players "killed in action" who died at that end of the Western Front. Rather worryingly I found 19 players mentioned on The Menin Gate a memorial for those with no known grave. Again most of those in this volume were very young so their impact on the game was minimal so I have chosen two to reflect this. Firstly Colin Blythe possibly the most well known player to be killed in war and Oxford graduate Frederick Burr who played just 1 match for Worcestershire and who was also a writer.
